General Plan of Activities

Introduction

In order to achieve the goals expressed in its Terms of Reference, the WG is organising concrete activities within its 4-year time plan. Below we list our proposed activities planned up to 2012.  This activity plan will be updated and augmented continuously.  Remarks and proposals, including new activities, are welcome and should be sent to the WG secretary.

• European Geosciences Union, (Vienna, 19-24th April): Airborne and Terrestrial Laser Scanning and geomorphology: possibilities, problems, and solutions and Landslides monitoring and characterization using high resolution DEM, LIDAR and other DEM techniques
• IAG, International conference on geomorphology, (Melbourne, 6-11th July): includes a Session on Terrestrial Laser Scanning within Geomorphology and a Session on Applied Geomorphological Mapping
